FAQs

What to Know Before Your Clients Go

Vaccination Requirement
For Adventure of the Seas, Bahamas sailings – we require that your clients 16 years and older be fully vaccinated before sailing. (All doses of their COVID-19 vaccine must be completed 14 days prior to arriving in The Bahamas.) We ask that your fully vaccinated clients provide proof of vaccination prior to boarding. Anyone unable to provide proof will be considered unvaccinated. Additionally, all crew members onboard will be fully vaccinated.

Testing
Vaccinated guests do not require any pre-cruise testing. For re-entry into their home country, they may require proof of a negative COVID-19 test. If needed, we’ll offer complimentary testing for them on Day 6 of their cruise.

Unvaccinated guests will need to take three tests.

  • Before arrival into The Bahamas, as required by local                        government, your clients will undergo a SARS-CoV-2 test                within five days of arrival. Costs associated with this test are          your clients' responsibility.
  • On boarding day, they will be tested at the Hilton Hotel in              Nassau, where check-in will take place. Registration details            will be sent prior to sailing.
  • A final test will take place on day 6 onboard for re-entry into          The Bahamas and into home country (if needed).

The boarding day and onboard tests are complimentary.

Onboard the Ship

As we return to sea, Royal Caribbean is sailing with fewer guests onboard, letting you ease back into vacation mode.

Dining
As all dining venues will offer spaced seating, it is strongly encouraged that your clients make reservations for their onboard dining. They can reserve specialty dining and My Time Dining times before their cruise via Cruise Planner. Reservations for the Main Dining Room and Windjammer can be made once onboard by using the Royal Caribbean App or calling the reservation line. Windjammer will be open for breakfast and lunch, and food will now be served to them by crew members to avoid guests sharing serving utensils. If they'd like to dine with other parties during their cruise, they can easily link their bookings by calling us at 866-562-7625.

Entertainment
Venues will seat at a spaced, reduced capacity, and to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy our showstopping entertainment, we’ll also be offering more showtimes throughout their sailing. Be sure to book their showtimes once onboard, using the Royal Caribbean App.

At Perfect Day at CocoCay
All crew members at Perfect Day at CocoCay are fully vaccinated. On the island, we’ve spaced out furniture and have even more frequent cleaning procedures, so they can get right to chasing thrills or slip into an island state of mind the moment they arrive. There are plenty of great tours and activities for them to choose from, but they won’t need to book any in order to go ashore.

At Cozumel & Grand Bahama Island Shore Excursions

They won’t need to book a tour in order to go ashore in Cozumel or Grand Bahama Island. But be sure to check out our selection of curated shore excursions — we’ve worked closely with local, independent tour operators who will be aligned with our health protocols and guidance. They can reserve tours now on Cruise Planner.

The protocols communicated here apply only to guests departing from Nassau, Bahamas on Adventure of the Seas®. We will continue to update these protocols as public health situations evolve. Guidance for all other departure ports is still in development with federal, state and local authorities. Booked guests will be provided full details specific to their port of departure prior to sailing.
